Natural graphite
Natural graphite is mined in many regions around the world e.g. China, Africa, South America, Canada, Europe.
Processing is carried out through mechanical (flotation), chemical and thermal cleaning processes, screening and refining.
According to the characteristic of the crystal structure one can differentiate between macrocrystalline and microcrystalline (“amorphous“) natural graphite.
Our product portfolio covers the following specification range:
Macrocrystalline natural graphite:
| Carbon content: | 80 – 99,9% |
| Particle size: | 3 µm to 800 µm |
Microcrystalline (“amorphous“) natural graphite:
| Carbon content: | 60 – 90% |
| Particle size: | 2 µm to 5 mm |
