Micaceous Iron Oxide

MIOX®

For many decades, micaceous iron oxide coatings have been known for their unique protective effect. Using MIOX® guarantees long-term corrosion protection. This enables maintenance-free intervals and also considerable cost savings.

In addition to the standard types for heavy duty corrosion protection, newly developed micronized and submicronized product types are available which are particularly well suited for thin layer corrosion protection and also as a replacement for zinc dust.

For the ceramic and plastics industry we supply MIOX® as a metallic effect pigment in very coarse, tight particle sizes ranges, e.g. 63/100 µm to 400/600 µm.
